Educational landscapes
Education extends beyond the school setting. The opportunities for formal, non-formal and informal learning, and the players who create the learning context, form a comprehensive landscape at the local and even regional level. The term “educational landscape” refers not only to the elements that make up the landscape, but also to their harmonious distribution in the landscape, i.e. the management of interconnections between institutions, professions and concepts to facilitate the proper development of children and young people. Collaboration is a key theme in educational landscapes, notwithstanding the many obstacles to it (cf. ONQS, 2022).
