Conference “Société inclusive – Pratiques éducatives” (Inclusive Society – Educational Practices)
On 20 September, the “Société inclusive – Pratiques éducatives” (Inclusive Society – Educational Practices) conference was held at the University of Luxembourg. It addressed the crucial theme of inclusive education, which aims to transform our educational approach to respond systematically to the diversity of learners, whether they have special educational needs or not, and whatever their cultural or linguistic background.
The aim of the conference was to create a forum for exchange between key players in inclusive education in Luxembourg, Europe and internationally. By taking part in the conference, we were able to keep abreast of the latest research in the field of inclusion, and more specifically inclusive schooling in Luxembourg, and have a fruitful exchange with the various stakeholders, particularly on the results of the Observatory’s recent publication on the situation of inclusive pupils with special needs in Luxembourg.
