Well-being in schools – National survey of pupils and teachers (French)
The Observatoire was pleased to participate in the 2026 Measuring Progress Annual Workshop, organised in Luxembourg by STATEC Research. This international event brought together researchers and practitioners to discuss the measurement of progress, well-being, and quality of life.
During the session “Child and Adolescent Well-being”, Somia Salah and Iryna Kyzyma presented: “Measuring school climate in Luxembourg’s schools: Challenges and opportunities”
The presentation was based on a national study conducted in 2024 on students’ and teachers’ perceptions of school climate.
It highlights several key dimensions of the school experience – including safety, sense of belonging, relationships, teaching practices, and experiences of violence – within a multilingual and socially diverse education system.
Through this work, the OEJQS continues its mission to produce evidence that can inform schools, enrich public debate, and support the development of more inclusive and well-being-oriented school environments.
