ChildLux – Child protection

The ChildLux – Child Protection project aims to document the history and development of child and youth protection and its legal framework from the 1970s to the present day.

Methodologically, a comprehensive document analysis is being carried out. This is supplemented by qualitative interviews with contemporary witnesses from different areas who were significantly involved in the development of child and youth protection.

A further part of ChildLux deals with the historical differentiation of day care for children and takes place in this area.
