Presentation at the Ligue Santé Mentale’s National Instructor’s Day

Recently, the OEJQS participated in National Instructors’ Day organised by the Ligue Santé Mentale, dedicated to Mental Health First Aid (Premiers Secours en Santé Mentale – PSSM).

In front of an audience of around 70 PSSM instructors, Somia Salah, an observer at the OEJQS, presented a study conducted by the OEJQS on well-being in schools, based on data collected from students and education professionals.

She highlighted several determinants of well-being in schools, such as the educational climate, stress and motivation, as well as support and protective factors that contribute to the quality of the educational experience.

She also identified areas for vigilance, understood as structural elements to be monitored in order to maintain or strengthen environments conducive to student development and the work of teaching teams.

Finally, the meeting provided an opportunity to compare the field observations of PSSM instructors with trends observed at the national level, highlighting the importance of ongoing dialogue between practical expertise and systemic observation.
