Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools: What Do Parents Think?
The rapid emergence of AI technologies and its impact on schools and young people are also of interest to parents. Several questions arise regarding the opportunities and challenges associated with AI, both inside and outside the classroom, the role of parents, their needs, and their views on a national strategy in this area.
To discuss these and other questions, Ms Carla Carvalho, President of the National Parents’ Representation “National Elterevertriedung (NEV)”, met with the research team responsible for the project on the transformations of education in the age of AI at the OEJQS offices in Clausen on 20 July 2026.
The OEJQS presidency and the research team would like to thank Ms Carvalho for this insightful and inspiring exchange, which will help ensure that the perspectives and expectations of parents are integrated into the study.
