13. Swiss Congress on Special Needs Education
10 – 11 September 2024
Two members of our team attended the 13th Swiss Congress on Special Needs Education in Fribourg. This event provided an opportunity to discuss advances in inclusive education and to strengthen the commitment to the rights of people with disabilities.
At the event, our colleagues contributed to a participatory workshop entitled ‘What do professionals need to meet the challenges of inclusive education?’, where they presented the results of the EIEPL study and our first report on the situation of pupils with special needs in inclusive education in Luxembourg. The exchanges with the Swiss researchers were very enriching, offering new perspectives and ideas to incorporate into our forthcoming publications on inclusive education in Luxembourg.
We are delighted with this opportunity for exchange and collaboration, and warmly thank the Stiftung Schweizer Zentrum für Heil- und Sonderpädagogik and the Fondation Centre suisse de pédagogie spécialisée for organising it.
